This wonderfully spacious 1412 square foot townhome overlooks a wooded area. It’s a 3BR/2BA home with the main bedroom and on-suite bath on the first floor. We staged this home to show off the bamboo floors, nature views, ample storage, and excellent floor plan.

Editing the number of bookcases, only displaying some books and treasures, and removing all books from the top shelf began simplifying this space. The large cabinets between the two areas were relocated to the master bedroom and used as nightstands. We calmed and brightened the space by adding white drapes from another room and changing to a more open furniture arrangement.

We added simple, bold statements like the red chair and artwork. Then added usable space to the room by making use of the nook and adding a leaning desk. This room was the first-floor master, so we kept it open in the center to show off the room's size.

This upstairs master bedroom needed life, color, and balance. We met all these objectives by re-purposing cabinets from the dining room as nightstands, adding color with the blue drapes and blue throw on the bed - items the homeowner had in a closet - then rearranging to update the decor. Now buyers imagine how they can use the space.

By storing boxes off-site and creating an upstairs bedroom, we added maximum impact to this townhouse. We added extra bookcases from downstairs and a dresser that was crowding the master bedroom to turn this into the perfect guest room. Nothing was purchased, all decor, bedding, and lamps were homeowners from other rooms.
